Gadjah Mada University Ranks Number One

Yogyakarta       - The Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta has been ranked first in the list of Indonesian universities, based on Webometrics, an institution affiliated with the Spanish National Research Council. “UGM sat on the top rank for three consecutive years,” said UGM Public Relations and Protocol chief, Suryo Baskoro, said here. Webometrics publishes the list of university ranking on January and July every year.  In its list of best universities in Southeast Asia, UGM was ranked eighth, while the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) was in the 10th position and the University of Indonesia  (UI)  the 17th.    rri.co.id/dodo
